How many friends have you had in a lifetime?

I am proud to say that I have plenty - in and out of the blogosphere. I really value my friendships. They’re my treasures along with my family. So whenever things turn out bad for them, I get affected too….alam mo yun, di ako makapag-concentrate…to the point na nakakalimutan ko na may trabaho pala ako. LOL. Kaya the following day, I worked for 13 hours. I’m glad tapos na ang delubyo. Mag pa cheeseburger naman kayo!!!! You know, ang prayer ko sana matapos na ang WORLD WAR WAR sa Pinas. One thing I realized..FRIDE TALAGA IS REALLY DEADLY. Sana mag peace be with you na ang lahat ng bloggers. Yan ang bago kong advocacy….PEACE BE WITH YOU!!!! LOL. Life is too short, cliche but trulala.

Sabi ng isang scientist:

The average human lifespan is about 80 years. The first 15 years of which you spend with your parents. If you are lucky and still have a clear head by the time of your death, that gives you 65 years of having most of the decisions in your life by yourself (provided you don’t marry a dictator). If you sleep 8 hours per day in that 65 years, you are basically asleep for about 20 years, leaving you only 45 years of waking hours.

45 years is 394,200 hours (hinde ako confident sa computation ko, lol). Imagine that! And how many hours do you spend plotting against your enemies? Di ba. Kids nowadays are addicted to computer games. Well, not just kids but even adults like my 2 younger brothers. They’re so into online gamings like World of Warcraft, Ragnarok etc. We would all end up fighting at home as when who will use the computer next after the other. It irks out the hell out of me sometimes. That’s also one reason why I am buying a laptop this weekend. Imagine this, our youngest just spent the whole night playing World of Warcraft. Good thing my computer is really reliable. Been using it for a couple of years but I never actually had any ‘major’ problems with it. Nothing is more upsetting than having a computer that’s needs to be fixed all the time.

MOVIE REVIEW: IRON MAN

So darn cool!!!

Love you Tony Stark!!! Ang galing galing mo….with all that nuclear pacemaker and flying cyborg-transformer-robot you created…waaaaaaaah! It’s a fun movie though slightly predictable.

If you’re a fan of marvel comics and sci-fi movies, you shouldn’t miss this one. Aliw sya talaga. My kind of movie - one that allows you to watch it, really see it, feel it and meet it at least half-way. Na-nosebleed ako understanding the techie terms and all that. It’s worth your 200Pesos and 2 hours, I tell you.

What It Feels Like To Be An Extra In A Commercial

Nagtataka lang ako kung baket everybody was tahimik and walang gumagalaw…I stopped for few seconds…tingin ako sa kaliwa-kanan…naka freeze ang mga tao…what’s happening to these people?? Care ko di ba…so go straight akong tumatawid ng nagkakandirit papasok sa McDonald’s habang feel na feel ko ang long curly hair ko na sumasabay sa hanging Amihan nang biglang may sumigaw ng malakas sa MIKTINIG (microphone)

CUT! CUT! CUT!!! Yung babaeeeeeeee!!!

Suddenly, all eyes were fixed on me. What did I do?

*namutla, nanlaki ang mga mata at napanganga* Shucks!!! May shooting pala!!! Commercial shoot, anak ng tokwa!!! Ang tita nyo chumorva-chorva sa gitna…nag feeling masyado…tuloy nasigawan ng director. Tumingin daw ako sa dinadaanan ko. Malay ko ba sa commercial nyo noh.

Wag nyong mamanahin dahil major humiliation ever.

BITTER PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS BE BITTER

I am no USER. Never! I never use people. I am no power tripper. I don’t like corporate chismaks. I do not meddle on corporate affairs. If there’s chismis in the office, I’m always the last to know.

I waited for 2 years to get what I have now.

Kase ganito yun, March 2 yata if I remember it right…was my exit interview. I filed for resignation and March 15 was supposed to be my last day in the office. Everything was all set and I was very happy and excited to go, finally. The manager even signed the letter already.

During the interview, my boss asked me the reasons why I am resigning and everything…and what they can do to change my mind daw…

I am never demanding in real life but since it was a chance to finally voice out what I have been keeping in my heart for years, I demanded something. Nope, it wasn’t actually a DEMAND…it was a PROPOSAL….hmmm not even close to it, I just said what was in my mind. I wanted CHANGE.

So I applied and had a panel interview and after a month, it was granted.

Truth is, that was the 1st and only time that I was able to talk to the manager in all the years I’ve worked for the company….You know why? Kase hinde ako SIPSIP. Ganun lang yun.

I never do that. Nevah.

Magdidildil na lang ako ng asin at mamamatay sa gutom but I will never ever SIPSIP the blood of my superiors. Not that everything’s wrong about it…but I just can’t see myself climbing up the rurok ng tagumpay at the expense of others, if you know what I mean.

I knew it. I was expecting this to happen. This and much more. Are you telling me that I do not deserve this post? Are you questioning my credibility, your honor? I was affected, a little lang. Hurt ang fride ko.

I realized, BITTER PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS BE BITTER AND I DO NOT HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER THEIR BITTERNESS. Hehehe. I don’t have to explain myself to you or to anyone else. And between the 2 of us, kung sinuman ang MALAKAS SA MANAGEMENT, you know very well that it is YOU.

Life is precious and it becomes more special to us when we learn to enjoy the little everyday blessings we receive. I’d like to believe that in general, I am a happy person. How about you?
