Visiting Macau ensures a wonderful sightseeing and travel experience. The place offers a wide array of historic sites, museums, cathedrals, long-established houses, parks, hill forts, beaches, glittering hotels with luxury hotel rooms and casinos. I got a chance to visit the place with my friends several weeks ago and it was alot of fun. They have a very unique culture, and quite interesting. It’s like East meets West. I specially enjoy the time we spent in the casino hahaha. Yeah, I won! Will tell you more about it on the next post hehe. Laters, baboosh!
Bukas na ang tindahan! Just got back this morning from the land of Hong Kong noodles para ma-experience ang lifestyle ng mga well-to-do ahahaha.
Weeee! This tour is brought to you by Pepe and Pilar in Pasig earnings.
Patapos pa lang ang winter, grabeng sobrang lamig. Sarado ang mga pores!!!
NOW, TODALEF EN TODARAYT
hay napagod ako kakataas ng kamay
ang new hairdo, bangs at ang parang inogag na highlights ni Ate Georgia LOL.
Back to work, back to reality na. Expect more Pepe and Pilars in the next few days dahil kayod marino ulet ang ditse nyo. More pics to follow. Check out my next entries, I’ll tell you more chika, tips about packing, suggestions, what-nots and all other stuff you need to know when visiting Hong Kong in a tight budget. Super duper tipid talaga ito, in fact, twice a day lang kami kumain hahahha. For 8 days, including a trip to Macau, sa maniwala kayo o hinde, posible ang 20K pesoses na budget, pero ref magnets lang ang ma-sho-shopping mo with that money ha kaya wag mag expect ng Gucci bag dahil kahit yung japeyk eh pagkamahal-mahal doon hahah. I’ll tell you more about it soon, pag may time, meantime, maglalaba muna ang ditse, santambak ang labada ko as in.
A lot of my friends are finally tying the knot. There’s J, on March 10 (congrats dear, finally it’s happening, soo happy for you). My former colleague H is also now engaged to R, H is even asking me if I could be their planner/coordinator. So sorry H, I’ll try my best to help you out esp. with the tiara but I’m no professional wedding planner lol, I’m afraid, I could ruin everything for you and R on your special day hahaha. My best wishes to you both! Mwah. And finally, so excited for my cousin M. M and J are planning for an October wedding next year! Yeay! I dream of a nice and romatic garden wedding for you cuz. Probably in a large courtyard of palms and fountains, with its fence (for all your pvc fence installation needs, check out fencequotes.com) sorrounded by beautiful flowers, in the late afternoon with the sunset. Awts! Congrats and my best wishes to y’all.
I sooo love this huge Sony Vaio lappie I got from Reynz last year. It has an amazing laptop memory of 4G, 250HDD, Intel Core 2 Duo. Really top of the line. It’s designed for multimedia purposes and has 16.4-inch display. Other features include WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n) wireless module, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, and a 56K modem, as well as Dolby Sound Room Audio, a built-in web camera, HDMI and VGA outputs, 3 USB ports, ExpressCard, Memory Stick Duo, and Secure Digital slots, and a Firewire port. It also comes with a DVD and Blu-Ray burner! Thanks Reynz. This is one of the best gifts I’ve got so far. Way better than any lovelife there is, LOL.

Do you love thrilling activities that make your adrenaline rush? If you’re an adventurous soul who loves all kinds of adventure, you should try Water Rafting in Davao. I’ve tried it twice already and I love it! There’s also another rafting site in CDO and Tugegarao but I have yet to try them.
Nothing can match the excitement it gives when you paddle hard against the raging rapids. An that up and down roller coaster ride over rocks and boulders, that’s an amazing feeling. Sure bet, you are going to remember it for the rest of your life! It is a lot of fun but it is also scary. It’s an extreme sport that can cause injuries especially when rafting on fast rapids. But don’t worry, Davao Wildwater provides proper safety equipment with an experienced guide who is familiar with the river you are rafting on. Check out their website or call their numbers (+6382) 301-2020, atoy 0920-9546898, poloy 0920-9546897 for more info. Happy paddling!
If you’ve been reading here for quite sometime now, you’ll notice that I have not changed my theme since day 1. It’s been using this same old fashioned template eversince I started to self-host this blog. I tried switching my template one time but my ignoramousity caused me more troubles than I can imagine. Once, I tried to update my wordpress software, but ended up deleting some chenelyn which caused this blog to shut down for 24 gruelling hours. Haay, I am such a technoboba, at times. I nosebled to death from that experience, it was traumatic too.
Do you also have this dilemma? Afraid of updating your wordpress software version to the latest? Have you been hacked? Problem with scripts? Changing themes? Plugins that don’t work?

Dyaraaan! Kinilaw na tuna with ampalaya. I’m no fan of half-cooked/no-cook meals but this one is uber delicious. We invited some
boylets friends to come over, unfortunately, we ended up waiting in vain, walang dumating LOL. It was the perfect time pa naman sana for a heavy drinking session hahaha, so as not to waste any more time just wishing and hoping and waiting, we headed straight to Jack’s Ridge na lang. If ever you visit Davao City, make sure you don’t miss this place. I super love it there. It’s like Tagaytay meets Eastwood.
It’s sitting high up on a hill overlooking the lights of Davao City. The view is to die for, especially at night, I know, hindi ko ma-justify ang statement ko with that picture hahaha….but that place got a spectacular view talaga. And it’s a bit colder there too.
Sarap tuloy mag-emote.
Jack’s Ridge actually got lots of things to offer:
Kai’s Bar and Grill
Karlo’s Coffee Station
BMW Piano Bar
Kool Kat’s Pool
Here’s the view outside. Sorry for the blurred images, low tech ang camera.
Enjoy the night as you take unlimited pictures with your family and friends LOL
Jack’s Ridge is filled with reminders of its historic past. The land on which it stands was once the headquarter of the Japanese forces during the end of the World War II. Rumor says that hidden somewhere in JR are gold bullions and other treasure that the Japanese had taken from other countries and brought to Davao. Weh? Di nga?
At night, you can use this telescope to see stars, Venus, Vega, Sirius, other planets and constellations…charing lang. This telescope will only allow you to see just a little bit fainter than the naked eye, 10 pesos per 3-5 minutes.
descend this endless stairs to get to Kai’s bar LOL
This lovely coffee shop – Karlo’s Coffee Station – offers free film showing.
Reasonble prices + great atmosphere + great music to serenade you = perfect gimik night
Kunichiiiwaaaaaa!!! I’m back!!! Nag bakasyon ang ditse nyo sa Davao, yah know para mag-waldas ng maraming pera LOL alam mo naman, walang paglagyan, 4 lang kase ang bulsa ko lol. Seriously, me and my family spent 3 days/3 nights to Davao. This trip was one of the best trips I’ve had. Nakakaloka ang bakasyon na ‘to. First, hinde nadapa ang lola nyo this time pero nadulas sya hahahha kaya eto at injured ang index finger left foot. Second, muntik na kami mawalan ng digicam. 3rd, iniwan kami ng erplane. SHIT HAPPENS WITH CEBUPACIFIC but that’s another story. Will post it tomorrow or next day, when I have time. 4th, nag-courtesy call kami kay Mayor Duterte. Seryoso nga. Yah know my views about politics, I hate politicians…but Duterte is one politico that I sooo admire. Will tell you more info on the next entry.
Meantime, here are some pix from the highlight of our trip – river rafting. We actually planned to spend a day tour at Pearl Farm Davao, kaso mas masaya ang rafting eh. Buti na lang accommodating ang staff, and may nahanap silang guide that same day, else, hinde magiging bonggang-bongga ang Davao tour. So in true Chuvaness fashion, let me reiterate to you all our Wildwater Adventure…this is gonna be a long entry so sit back, eat popcorn and enjoy!

Reyding reydi na kaya kami
What a beautiful creation!
Like the river, you will encounter obstacles and challenges along the way and you’ll overcome them by paddling forward and paddling hard…
…sooner or later, you will pass them with a smile on your face 🙂
you will struggle and strain…
and fall down….
but you will continue your journey until you reach the goal…
along the way, you will meet few good souls to help you
and rescue you. Naks! Daghan salamat Kuya Jepoy
There will be moments of raging rapids, but then,
there will be more moments of smooth and peaceful flow… (kumakanta kami nyan lol)
and side trips to loosen up
From Right to Left: ITIM LEADER and us hahaha peace

The majestic falls

Yan kase, injured tuloy ang ditse nyoooo!!! HAHAHAH
Actually, naisip ko na yun eh, siguro pag tumapak ako sa batong to madudulas ako, and it turned out, totoo nga! Nadulas nga ang ditse nyo. I told yah, I can do anything even the absurd just to prove my point. HAHAHAH
Shucks, hinde ako nakapagpa-foot spa man lang kakainis!!! Kitang-kita kaya yung kalyo ko HAHAHA akala ko mapuputulan na ako ng daliri sa paa. Seriously, it really hurts, and it’s still hurting. Hinde kaya ako makalakad noh

Go team chicken!!!
After 2-3 hours of high fives and paddling hard, we finished the 13km of wild water adventure! We fought a good fight, finished the race and

What a day!
Finally, we’re all going back home. Hakafagud. Videos to follow soon. Thank you guys for the wonderful experience. Aksheli, this is my secand time already, was there last year February, but I’ll never get tired doing it for 3rd, 4th, 5th time and so on and so forth.
When you get a chance to visit Davao, make sure you include this in your itinerary. It’s worth your 2000 pesos, believe me.
I know this is super duper late post (blog ko kaya to, hello) Just want to share some pix from our mini xmas parteey
angelofthewaters.com, zitrozil.net and aimzster.page.ph. We watched THE DAY THE WORLD STOOD STILL (Keanu Reeves), not my kind of movie. Kalahati na eh di ko pa rin na ge-gets
We went to Ristorante Bigoli, the perfect place that day since almost all fastfoods and restos in Trinoma were jampacked. Located on the 4th floor, far end of the restaurant row. Free bread sticks (better than fazoli’s).
Delicious yummy….pizza! (what are you looking at lol)
kris kringle na
Aside from our kris kringle, we also prepared separate gifts for each other. Ang gastos grabeh! Thank you Lizz for the wonderful gifts!
