Do you ever experience that?
I do. It was alarming at first. I thought I had a heart problem that I don’t know, but the results from my annual ECG (using the holter system) says otherwise. No heart problems at all, besides I only experience that burning pain when I’m dancing.
Dominic, our fitness trainer said it is because of unbalanced deep breathing. If there’s a short supply of oxygen, the heart will spasm, which causes that squeezing pressure you feel on your chest. True enough because when I started to breathe in and out more often when dancing, as oppose to holding my breathe, the chest pain stopped.
So now, wherever I go and whatever I do, I always practice proper breathing, not just to stop the chest pain but also to be healthier, be less stressed and more relaxed.
