Lord, Let your Grace and Mercy Be Upon Us

This tragedy makes everything I complain about so miniscule. I’d choose injured toe, traffic, low salary and no promotion over earthquake, nuclear meltdowns and tsunami any day. My heart cries out to everybody affected by this tragedy. I read the fatalities have reached 1000+ and many are still missing.

With everything that’s happening around us – financial collapse, earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, middle east protests – makes one think that the end of the world is coming soon. They say it’ll end next year – 2012. I don’t really want to think about it because I dont see how somebody can precisely determine the exact date when the world will come to an end but I believe it will happen sometime in our generation, but not anytime soon, I hope. Goodness! I haven’t done a lot of great things in my lifetime yet.   Lord, let your grace and mercy be upon us.

I hope Japan and its people can recover quickly.

  1. I try not to believe that these are apocalyptic signs. I’m so stubborn to believe that the world will end. I don’t know. But upon reading the news and looking at photos of Japan, I have doubts on my belief that the world will never cease to exist. Sad talaga. My heart aches for the Japanese people and I’m amazed how resilient and calm they are despite the tragedy they are in. Nako, wag sana mag meltdown ang nuclear reactor! Katakot talaga.
