Money Matters

For frequent taxi rider, keep coins with you when you travel and always give the exact fare. You may not notice but most taxi drivers rob you with additional 10-15% from your total fare.

Record every single thing you purchase in a log book to help you track your expenses.

Stop using credit cards. If you have one, make sure you avoid missed payments. And never pay with just the minimum amount.

Try to withdraw money from your own bank’s ATM as much as you can.

Reduce your ATM visits by withdrawing enough cash to last for 2 weeks.

Save at least 10% of your salary for each paycheck.

Give up expensive habits – gum, cigarettes, alcohol, fish ball LOL etc.

Make your own money jar!

Setup an emergency fund.

Learn to invest your money. There are many ways on how you can do that – buy shares of stocks, mutual funds, you can even buy gold bars if you like (they’re good investments) or franchise a food stall/kiosk.

Lastly, always stick to your budget.
