Funny picture. Looks like I’m having lots of fun but the truth is, I almost cursed this day! One of the hardest days of my life. This pic was taken when we had a free boxing session over at Elorde’s. It was my first attempt at boxing, I didn’t realize it requires a tremendous workout! It was really hard.
During the whole punching session, my sweat wont just stop falling and I was panting every now and then, I almost want to give up and just go home and sleep since I live nearby. Those punching bags are huge and heavy! Boxing seems to be easy when I look at Manny Pacquiao but oh boy, it’s not! I didn’t realize I’m bad so bad at body rhythm and timing hahaha. My feet, head and hands are all moving out of sync.
If you’re trying to lose weight, boxing is surely one of the fastest ways, it’s a great cardio exercise, helps in building strong muscles and flexibility. I felt like losing 10 lbs after the session. It’s no wonder some boxers take the best post workout supplements to help them replenish the nutrients they have lost during heavy workouts.
If you ask me if I should try it again, well, maybe. I had fun that day but it’s not just for me, besides, an hour session costs 240P. That’s sooo pricey!
