This is the old Tranvia (Electric Street Tram) in Manila. It was operated by the Manila Electric Railroad and Light Company during the American era. Yes, this is similar to HK’s Tram. I love it.
Taken inside a cigar factory. Women and girls making cigars. Women aren’t really allowed to have jobs before, but cigar-making seems to be a trade for them in the old times.
I’m getting nostalgic by just looking at these pictures. I love the old Manila. I wish I could go back in this era.
