This is the typical water system in my barrio.

Life here is so simple. There’s no NAWASA nor electric water pump to supply us water everyday, no shower tubs in the bathroom, nor attractive Grohe faucet gracing our kitchen. We take a bath and do the laundry at the same time using water from the dugwell. The water coming from it is safe for drinking, and although it is safe to drink already, I prefer boiling them first because I am so arte haha. Here in Manila, I don’t drink tap water because I am so arte nga haha, I only drink Wilkins LOL. Seriously, I don’t like the obvious taste of chlorine, so I usually get a supply from a  mineral water refilling station.
