Ngong Ping 360 is one of the must see attractions in Hong Kong. It includes a cable car journey, a walk to Ngong Ping village and a visit to the giant buddha. It’s impossible to leave HK without tryingthe Ngong Ping 360 experience. It’s close to the Hong Kong International Airport and only a few minutes’ walk from Tung Chung MTR Station. It is located in Lantau Island.
Knock knock!
Who’s there?
Tung Chung!
Tung Chung who?
Tung Tung Tung Chung Pakitong-kitong (corny haha)
Nis is nga ngenrans no Ngong Ping Ngrisiksni. Nyeheeey!!
Adjacent to the Tung Chung MTR station is the Citygate Outlets Mall. Akala ko regular mall lang ito but wait until you get inside. Puro outlet store ng Adidas, Armani Exchange, Bally, Benetton, The Body Shop, Burberry’s, Calvin Klein, Esprit, Giordano, Laura Ashley, Levi’s, Kate Spade, Nautica, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren, Puma, Samsonite, Timberland, Triumph, Vivienne Tam etc.
Ngong Ping Ticketing Office. Round trip ticket is 96HKD (for your reference, x7 yan sa peso). M-F, 10:00AM – 6:00PM. Sat-Sun (including Special days), 9:30AM – 6:30PM.
Weeee! The Cable Car Experience!
The journey begins from Tung Chung, crossing Tung Chung Bay to reach the angle station on Airport Island and turning about 60 degrees in the air towards North Lantau.
It’s a fun ride, but not for the faint hearted. Spectacular view. Inside the cable car, you will see the dramatic change from the hustle and bustle of the city, to the peaceful and natural beauty surrounding the Lantau island.
You will surely enjoy the amazing 25-minute ride. The views of the distant and vast South China Sea to the mountain slopes is very….inspiring (lol, wala akong maisip na adjective)
You will aslo catch the Hong Kong International Airport, the Tian Tan Buddha Statue and the 360-degree view of the Ngong Ping Plateau while inside the CC.
Seeing Buddha from afar. Ayun sya.
Dyaraaan! Pupunta tayo doon sa giant Buddha. Anlayoooo!!!
We have landed! Enjoy ang stroll from Ngong Ping Village
Daming stores like this souvenir shop, pero sa totoo lang some of the stuff you’ll see here are the same stuff you’ll see in Ongpin hehe
The popular hang out of caffeine maniacs, Starbucks coffee
Chinese Dining Resto na sobrang mahal
A lot of people from all walks of life, young and old.
Jonas Brothers!!! Ay mali, si Zac Efron pala
The HK Winter fashion is all about….BANGS and BOOTS LOL
You can’t be under-dressed in HK during this season, mamamatay ka sa lamig noh LOL. Everyone’s wearing boots. More boots! Boots all over. Deadly boots, boots with a fur, UGG boots etc.
At drama nya
Pati sya
Sya rin…
At sya! Hehehe
Your journey to enlightenment will start here.
Peechur peechur muna before take off.
Hehehe, parang Baguio lang noh? Me and Best on the 3rd place.
aimz and she on the secand place
Ang winner! sya ang unang na-enlighten
Buti na lang at super malamig, it made the journey easy and sweat free.
Shuckksss!!! Narating ko din after soo many years!
The journey doesn’t stop there, inside, you will find stores na nagtitinda ng mga jade stones and other Chinese ek ek
and more Chinese eklavus. it’s interesting what you can see inside. Too bad, cameras are prohibited, but if you walk that stairs, it will lead you to….a secret place called…ano bah secret nga eh.
We got there late na so we didn’t have enough time na puntahan yung Po Lin Monastery.
Meron palang isang natira hahaha
We decided to drop by sa Citygate Mall to eat lunch/dinner (sabi senyo, 2x a day lang kami kumain dun hahaha)
this meal alone costs 30HKD (x7).
Halos lahat ng stores nila eh parang may SALE as in super SALE…puro OUTLET STORES, I wasn’t convinced at first but when we checked it, super duper mura (basta wag mo ita-times sa 7 hahaha). From shoes to bags! Winner!
Social climbing tip when shopping in HK, ask the cashier to pack your items in separate bags para magmukhang bonggang bongga – one for wallet, one for pouch, one for belt bag, one for shoulder bag and one for body bag. HAHAHHA

Ako since 1989, wara na ako pakapamatron, not even once. Btw, I noticed Ada imo apelyido, sa Balicuatro area, wara pa ak pakabati Ada nga apelyido but I think I did sa Pacific side.
Enjoy nala sa patron! Kun taga-pacific side ka, dad-i nala ak sinangdayan bisan diri Pasko hehehe
