eto ang summary:
The story of Jamal Malik, an 18 year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, who is about to experience the biggest day of his life. With the whole nation watching, he is just one question away from winning a staggering 20 million rupees on India’s “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” But when the show breaks for the night, police arrest him on suspicion of cheating; how could a street kid know so much?
ODK talaga! I didn’t realize I’ll enjoy a Bollywood film ng bonggang bongga. One heck of a movie! Pricelessly original. Love it to pieces.
It reminds me of the slum areas that we have here in Manila. Yung tram scenes, grabeh parang LRT lang sa Monumento LOL. There were scenes na ‘kala mo dito sa Pinas talaga shinooting. May Payatas, Quiapo, Smokey Mountain, Tullahan River. At pramis akala ko original idea ng Pilipins ang mga sindikato na gumagamit ng mga orphan kids…meron din pala sa India.
A story of survival, fate, hope and love. Fantastic piece of art. The movie will make you laugh when you least expect it to. And although they showcased all kinds of oppression, starvation, and child prostitution, it will leave a positive effect in your life. Some scenes are very realistic and they will linger in your mind for some time. Pramis.
At eto ang bonggang bonggang pasabog ng pelikulang ito, may dance number sila sa ending!! O di ba, your classic Regal Films movies. Seriously, I highly recommend this movie. Grab a copy from Quiapo, pramis DVD copy na sya, sobrang linaw hahhaa.
