Yeay, Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots return for the live action on June 2009! Can’t wait! DreamWorks/Paramount has confirmed Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is scheduled for a June 26, 2009 release. Basing on the movie title itself, you can expect that Megatron will make a dramatic comeback and get revenge. A bit predictable but sure bet, it’s going to be awesome! The old plotline (from the original animated series in the 1980’s), Megatron will be back as a tank, and they are also bringing a whole bunch of new transformers – Constructotrons and Dinotrons! Here’s a short plot of the movie:
The battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron’s dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye.
Of course, my favorite Bumblebee will have a key role in the movie too. If you’re one of those Transformers geeks, you do know that the original Bumblebee was a Volkswagen Beetle. In transformers 2007 movie, Bumblebee was a 1970’s Chevrolet Camaro. This year, that same sweet yellow chevy will be back as a reliable friend to Sam Witwicky (Shia LeBeaouf). They rebuilt Bumblebee as a bright yellow 2008/2009 Camaro, a highly fuel efficient car, with great Custom Wheels (for all your wheel and tire packages needs, check out wheelfire.com, purchase now and get them at discount prices) and visual acuity.
I super love Transformers, it brings back many childhood memories. I was skeptical to watch it first when it came out, but when I saw it, can’t help but watch it again on theather, on DVD and on HBO over and over. This is going to be super amazing!
See yah in theaters!
