If I’m not surfing the net, usually you’ll find me spending my weekend watching DVDs at home. Just last week, I watched ”What Happens in Vegas” and I liked a lot. If you’re looking for a romantic comedy film to make you smile, then this is a fun movie for you. Starring Cameron Diaz and the hunky Ashton Kutcher. I don’t think they have a good checmistry on screen, do they? All in all, the movie is nice, leaves you a good feeling but don’t expect too much substance from it.
The story is about a control freak Cameron (who just gets dumped by her boyfriend) meeting a happy go lucky Ashton. They accidentally met each other in Las Vegas for a fun weekend. What is supposed to be a fun night turns into something else. They got married after a night of drinking!
The next day, knowing they’ve done a mistake, they decided to separate until Ashton wins the jackpot playing slots using Cameron’s quarter. That’s a lot of money and neither wants to give up. The two tries to undermine each other and get their hands on the money… falling in love along the way. They eventually ended up together and they live happily ever after.
I wish I could get lucky as Jack (Ashton Kutcher) and win jackpot at slot machines as well.
