Anak talaga ng tokwa yang mga taxi drivers na yan!!!! I super hate hate Pinoy taxi drivers. As in!! I blogged about them several times…and hinde nababago ang trend. Aside sa mga Government Officials…TAXI DRIVERS PO ANG PINAKA CORRUPT!!! Nakakainis. I am not generalizing pero MAJORITY ng taxi drivers, bwiseeeeeet!!!

I am sooo pissed right now with this manong from E&E Taxi. Manong, if ever you get to read this, balikan ka sana ng karma!!!!

Ok.

Monday morning, I was off to MIA for our early morning flight to Davao. I had to take a cab from Valenzuela to the Domestic Airport. I paid this manong driver around 300pesos. Fair enough.

Wednesday night, we arrived at MIA from Davao santacruzan…I had to make hatid the ever rich and beautiful REYNAELENA to his condo in East Ortigas dahil takot sa stalker. Sumakay kami ng isang taxi lang, the plan was se-segway kami sa Ortigas Mansion and then Valenzuela…anak ng tokwa!!! Walang metro. He’s charging us 300 papuntang East Ortigas. Ok, sige na nga.

Now along the way, we asked this ayuf na driver how much ang charge going to Valenzuela. Mega drama ang ayuf, may pa radyo-radyo pa asking the remote office ng charge but there was no response. Baka daw sira ang linya or sumtin.

Dahil mayaman nga si Reynz, he left me with 1K for my allowance, lol. That’s actually for our pamasahe…I was like, wow…1K is pretty big diba. May kick back ako for sure. LOL. I scammed 1000 pesoses from Reyna!!!

Now, along Edsa…nag radyo ulet tong ayuf a taxi driver to ask for the pricing, you wont believe this…he’s charging me 700pesos!!! Ok, sige na nga…nagkasubuan na. 700 ang babayaran ko…kahit sobrang labag sa loob ko…pero that’s still big diba

And to my surprise, after I confirmed it to manong na walanghiyang yan…700 ang bayad ng airport to valenzuela plus 300 ang bayad from airport to ortigas, so that’s 1000 pesoses!!!!!

BWISEEEEEEET!!!! *nawala ang kickbak ko*

Separate ang bayad ko sa bayad ni Reynz. Imagine this, what if 4 kami sa taxi, isang bababa sa Ortigas, isang Cubao, isang Monumento and isang Valenzuela? How much kaya ang babayaran ko?

I swear, nasa loob ako ng taxi and sobrang galit ko talaga I was telling this mama na sobrang overpricing sya. He’s NOT FAIR!!! Lahat naman tayo nagsusumikap na kumita ng pera pero sana sa marangal na paraan…yes, I was preaching him GMRC. I was fuming mad. I told him na more than 100% ang charge niya and hinde tama yun! I almost cried sa galit…and I didn’t stopped talking and telling him na masama yung ginagawa nya.

I asked him baket walang metro, walang masagot. Tinanong ko din kung may binabayaran ba sila sa MIA na rent, tax or sumtin kung kaya overpricing sila…wala naman. Baket ganun ang sistema nyo?? Trip trip lang nila. Pakyawan, kontrata…what is that? Deadmatology ang manong. I call it purely panloloko ng mga tao.

Hinde ako maka move on sa inis. 1000. Grrrrrrr!!!

Papayag ba ako? HINDE!!!

I told the driver na ibaba nya ko right there and then sa Edsa and I’ll just take a bus kesehodang mabigat ang bag ko at ala una na ng umaga. Siningil ako ng 600. Ayuf. I would have paid 500 lang sana…pero dahil fair ako, binigay ko yung 600 pero ang sama sama ng loob ko talaga. I lost my kickback! Pero that’s beside the point, if you know what I mean.

So ang ending, ang lola nyo eh nag bus pauwi, buti na lang di ako bumili ng isang box ng pomelo! Ang binayad ko sa bus…disi-otso!

Utang na loob, kung may makabasa man na government officials, sana naman ma-regulate yung ganyang mga hayup na driver na yan daig pa ang mga pulis sa pagiging buwaya! Galit na galit talaga ako.

  1. Buti di ka pumayag. Ang kakapal talaga ng fez ng mga driver na tulad nyan. Sana nagpababa ka sa presinto, baka matakot sa mga pulis patola. 🙂

  2. kala ko pa naman, dahil mga nakalinya sila sa domestic chuva eh mga matitinong buaya ang mga yon?! ano beh? di ba me binigay na papel sumtin sumtin yong guy sa domestic na kesyo sir dito po kayo sa number 2 whatever, yun pala mga display lang yun? kunyari civilizable?? big difference talaga ang mga taxi driver dito sa Manila kesa sa Davao! grrr!

  3. baka narinig kasi yung hollywood accent ni reynz e kaya natimbwag yung metro. pero kapag may nameet ka talagang masuba, super suba talaga, kung ako sa yo hindi ko sinara yung pinto nung bumaba ako sa taxi, bahala syang mag sara nya magisa nya, hmp! kaya kami sa pinas, hotel taksi na, alam naming tuwad kami sa presyo pero mas nakakainis kasi yung huthutang palihim kesa sa huthutang harapan ano.

  4. Malen, I made the same experience nung nag EB tayo. Pumara ako ng taxi from our hotel in Manila area to Greenbelt. Nung nakasakay na kami, the driver asked me kong paano daw ang bayaran. I answered him na “siyempre plug down”. Then sagot niya ” ay maam ma traffic po diyan lugi ako blah blah yaddah yaddah”. Three hundred din ang singil niya sa akin. Wow, mukang naululan siya sa akin ahn Kesyo nakita niya ang mga bata…$$$$ ang paningin niya.

    Sinabihan ko siyang huminto iensigida or tatawag ako ng polis. Ayon huminto nga at kami ay bumaba. After several attempt to get a cab may natagpuan din akong mabait na driver. Plug down this time, pero humiling lang siya na kong maari dagdagan ko daw ng 30 pesos. Okay lang ang 30, at dahil medyo nag-alanganin siyang magtanong/humingi, I gave him 100.

    Pero yong mga kurakot na taxi drivers diyan ay dapat talagang parusahan.

    Dito pala sa Davao, takot ang mga taxi drivers na i-report sila ng kanilang pasahero kay Mayor Duterte kapag may kabalbalan silang ginawa. Kaya nga meron sila ditong mga ID na nakasabit sa harap at likod ng sasakyan.

    Sana ganyan din sa Maynila o sa buong Pilipinas. Ihulog sa imburnal ang mga kurakottttt! O di kaya ipakain sa buwaya o sawa doon sa crocodile farm. Remember?

  7. lamo dadaan lang sana ako eh kaso de ko mapigilang mag-react dito sa post mo dahil ang sama din ng experience ko sa mga taxi sa pinas. isa istilo nila eh yung walang panukli kunwari dahil para sa kanila na ang sukli. nabwisit tuloy ako huling experience ko eh dapat babayaran ko is 20 pesos lang eh pero ang inabot ko isang daan sabi ba naman wala daw syang sukli. hay kainis.

    dapat sinumbong mo yan kinuha mo yung plate number kasi kaya sila ganyan siguro dahil walang nagrereklamo sa kataastaasan.

  8. ako swerte sa mga taxi drivers. mababait mga nakukuha ko. hehehe. kse simula pa lang, pag hindi na nag-metro, inaayawan ko na. hehehe. yung driver ng cab na nasakyan ko nung friday night, este, sat morning na pala, mabait din… start pa lang sinabi na nya na baka pwede dagdagan ng 30 pesos yung sa metro… okei na rin lang… mabait naman at safe driver pa… hehehe…

Intindihin nyo ang mga driver kasi nag babayad sila ng gas at boundry kung lahat ng pasahero eh marunong mag bigay at umunawa mawawala ang mga balasubas na driver at hindi lang mga taxi driver ang walang hiya mas marami ang mga pasahero habang ginigipit nyo ang mga driver maslalo nyo lang silang tinuturoan na maging masamang tao kasi mga pamilya sila ng mahihirap ang buhay

    Me and my family arrived in NAIA terminal 3 this morning around 12:30am August 16, 2010 and we go to the line of yellow cab airport taxi for almost an hour, unfortunately, when it is our turn the girl who is taking the destination
    told me that they don’t have the route going to Dasmarinas Cavite. I was disappointed after hearing that because it took me almost an hour in the line and so I asked her how come when there is no signage/any information in their pick-up station on the list of their route. She told me “ganon talaga mam” and she advise me to go to the line of “white taxi/coupon taxi” which is fix rate and is not acceptable to me and for sure even to other passenger if happens that they will be on my shoe. And so I got irritated because we have been patiently waiting on the line not to mentioned my 2 kids ages 4 & 7 are already fall asleep on the lap of my husband and on the luggage and yet the girl in-charge of that “Airlink” if I am not mistaken will only treat us that way. I asked her to get me the taxi she was saying if they cannot accommodate us but she was inconsiderate to tell me “NO” they cannot do that because that is different from them, “NAGPANTING ANG TENGA KO” it was past 1am and my kids are already not comfortable, tired and I am already on a fighting mood after hearing stupid excuses on her, I shouted and so every body can hear me saying that if she let the 4th passenger next to me get into their taxi I will surely spank my bags on her and I will complaint in your agency and on their management because they should not be like that, one of their driver asked me what’s going on and after I told him the problem he volunteer to drive us but the girl in-charge didn’t allow the driver I even hear her says “hindi ka pwede dyan kuya”. Their business was service and yet they don’t have good costumer service and don’t know how to deal with angry costumer. She get’s back to me and tell me ok they will give us unit that will send us home in Dasmarinas Cavite but they will charge us additional 40 pesos on top of their 70 pesos plug down rate. As I just wanted to finish arguing and I am just after to get home I accepted it. But when I am already inside the taxi with my kids I hear them talking to my husband that they will charge us 960 pesos I was trying to get out of the taxi and confront them because it was clear when she said that they will charge us additional 40pesos how come they will charge us fix rate of 960pesos? But my husband only wanted to go home because we have office and my daughter have school later and so he just tell me to let this go because he might also loose his temper if we still stay and listen to their stupid excuses…I wasn’t able to get the name of that stupid girl on duty that time but I know and I believe that if the authority will look on this matter it is so easy to track the people concern because the company should know whose on duty by that time and I can even recall her face if I see her next time. I just wanted to ask your agency as I have watch some interviews of your people regarding refusing of taxi’s to convey is it true that your making an action to call the attention of the taxi specially airport taxi is not small time company? I hope this is true because if not no wonder why this taxi company acts that way.

  16. My son and I took an NYS Taxi UVA 994 at the Pureza LRT station at about 9:18 am today (October 27) after waiting for about 45 minutes. I told the driver to bring us to NAIA 3. He told me that he is charging P 300 for that destination. I agreed to the contract against my will because we were catching time to make our flight (we would have missed our flight if we were delayed by 15 min). I am fully aware that if a meter is used, it is only ranges from P 130 – P160 under normal traffic and correct meter. In light of this, I would like to file my complaint to the LTFRB for the failure of the taxi driver to intentionally use his meter and overcharge his passengers. He took advantage of the situation by engaging in an illegal and immoral action/behavior. My niece had the same experience (paying P 300) when he also took a taxi in Pureza to NAIA 3 last week. This seems to be a pervasive practice of taxi drivers. LTFRB/LTO should take action on this. Kawawa ang mga commuters!

Guys beware of GOLDEN FAITH TAXI TXM 752- plate number.. grabe.. sumakay ako from katipunan to pasig.. usually 150 lang binabayad ko, pero lumabas sa meter niya 240.. grabe un batingting niya. :(( reklamo pa ng reklamo dahil ang layo daw ng pasig.. AND naghanap pa siya ng AUTO LPG sa cubao bago ako ihatid.. so dagdag sa binayaran ko na ayaw niyang ibawas. nagdamog pa sakin. SOBRANG DAYA. PANO BA SIYA MAREREKLAMO? estudyante pa naman ako, kaya lang ako nagtaxi kasi wala ng masakyan eh nagmamadali ako.

  20. March 4, 2011, I came from St. Luke’s Medical Center for an interview. Umalis ako don ng 12:00pm and requested the guards na i-abang ako ng taxi JUST IN FRONT of the hospital. I saw a taxi na pinara ng mga guard sa kanto then pinapasok sa harap ng entrance ng hospital where i’m waiting with other passenger din. After din non sumakay na ko sa taxi na nakatoka sa akin at 12:10. Sinabi ko sa driver na sa Aurora Blvd. lang ako sa may Nestle (dating magnolia) right there and then hinihingian niya na agad ako ng DAGDAG! although yung taxi niya naka-calibrate na sa P40.00 pesos na flat rate. Edi sinabi ko: “metro mo na lang manong since naka-calibrate na siya” di naman umimik yung driver and nginitian na lang ako. so ayun edi akala ko okay na? nung malapit na kami sa market-market pa imbes na ilabas niya na agad ako ng C-5 from 38th street iniliko niya pa ako sa 32nd street at doon na paikot ikot kami! napansin ko sa meter niya na hindi pa kami nakakalabas ng Global City nasa 90 na yung bill ko, normally yung pamasahe ko na yun from rosario, pasig to global city na!!! edi yun dedma ko lang right then kinuha ko na yung plate number niya agad kasi ang bilis ng meter mapa-nakahinto or tumatakbo kami 18 seconds tataas na ng 3.50 yung metro niya!!! P*t*ng In*!!! E ang budget ko sa taxi 180-200 lang masakit na sa bulsa yun ha?! Nakarating na rin ako sa wakas after 30 minutes And guess what magkano ang bill ko pag dating namin? 250 pesos! since wala ako barya nagpabarya kami ng 500 sa petron sa may aurora, 300 binigay ko at hinihingi ko yung sukli ayaw niya ibigay!!! sabi nung mama NAGPA-SERVICE daw ako kaya maniningil siya ng 50!!! ay P*t*ng In* talaga! kung matatandaan niyo pinara lang siya ng guard sa labas ng Hospital! panu kaya naging service yun!!! e wala naman ako tinatawagan na TAXI company para i-service ako! since ayoko na makipag talo dahil nagmamadali ako pinagdasal ko na lang na may kalalagyan din yung hayup na yon! To cut he story short, daig ko pa yung bumyahe ng pa-maynila!!! max ko na binayaran pamanila from rosario 250 pero dito sa taxi na to? 300 pesos!!! hanep naman talaga! Porket galing sa St. Luke’s akala ng mga driver mayayaman!! e kagagaling ko nga lang interview dahil wala ako trabaho! huhuhu! please naman tanggalin ninyo sa pagd-driver itong mga salot sa lipunan na mga taong ito!

Porket galing sa St. Luke’s akala ng mga driver mayayaman!! e kagagaling ko nga lang interview dahil wala ako trabaho! huhuhu! please naman tanggalin ninyo sa pagd-driver itong mga salot sa lipunan na mga taong ito!   29. GOLDEN BOY TAXI WITH PLATE # TXU 841 sobrang linis ng tenga mo tsong! Sabi namin sa Mrt buendia kmi ppnta, pero tama bang sa Lrt Gil puyat kami ibaba.. Tapos kaw pang my ganang tawagin kami na hindi matinong kausap wow men! Eto pang nakkainis, txt xa ng txt at nag eentertain p ng call sa cellphone. Kaya kami ngtaxi para naman maaga kaming makarating sa pupuntahan namin pero ang ending nag joyride nman kami! I hate this experience!

  30. I am writing to complaint a taxi driver bearing registration number TYX794(Selvado taxi company, white Toyota Vios).

    On 14 sept 2011 at about 9.30am I arrived at NAIA terminal 1 from Singapore. At about 10am after meeting my friends at the departure hall. I saw that said taxi driver alighting Passengers and I then board his taxi and request to go to Pasay Victory liner bus station. While we just passed by Manila airport hotel, the taxi driver show me the list of fare from airport to Pasay which cost 580 peso and said that his taxi does not have a meter. I notice he had actually cover the meter with a cardboard. I told him how come it’s so expensive as normally fare from airport to Pasay is less than 300 peso if I were to hire a airport taxi and if were to go by meter will not cost more than 130 peso at the most. The driver just refuse to answer and keep diverting my questions. As I was in the rush and does not want to get myself into trouble as I am in a foreign country, I just complied and paid him the azking fare after alighting.

    Under LTFRB rules, it’s an offense for a taxi driver to firstly refuse to operate his meter. Secondly he is asking too much for the taxi fare. Does it cost 580 peso for just 10-15 minute ride? That’s ridiculous and I find him a cheat. He could have told me of that fare before I boarded his taxi but he didn’t. Instead he take the opportunity to drove pass the airport hotel before naming the taxi fare.

    I travel to Manila at least twice a year for the pass 5 years and I dun encounter much problem with taxi drivers. This is the first time I have had a very bad experience. NO doubt there are sone taxi driver does not use meter but their asking fare is quite reasonable to be. As for this is totally too much. What I know that such rate is normally the rate if we were to hire a taxi from hotels. But he’s is just a normal ordinary taxi.

    I hope LTFRB takes the necessary action to deal with this taxi company and the driver or else it will only bring a very bad name to this lively country. I am expecting a reply from LTFRB.

PLS. paano ba complain tong taxi plate number UVV 403? ayaw magbigay ng receipt when i ask for receipt kc refund po un sa company namin.grabeh nakipagaway pa karapatan ko humingi po ng receipt b4 i pay.at madugas pa metro nya kaya cguro ayaw magbigay ng receipt. it happen early this afternoon when i went to moa.

    when i return home i ride a taxi namn plate number UVV 205, pagsakay ko sabi ko bakit 138 ung taxi rate di binago ng driver umandar na po sya.sabi 300 daw po kc contrata po kc.imagine sumakay kana saka nila sabihin ganun.grabeh namn talaga talamak mga ganung klaseng taxi driver.
    sana po meron namn bumasa at sumita sa mga ganung klaseng driver po.same company sila kc uvv pareho ung taxi code.pareho din ugali ng mga driver nila. what a bad day.lagi lagi po ako nagtaxi sila lng ung nasakyan ko na ganun.

    i once aboard the taxi with plate number AYC 256 at around 8-8:30 am from University of Baguio to Upper Session Road.. i was only asking for the receipt since it was needed for our files,yet the sarcastically said that the there was no receipt available or the printer wasn’t working. I may understand his point but in a nice way..After all he was the one who needed my understanding mind,he need not to shout at me,he need not to throw my P50 change..CALLING ALL THE ATTENTION OF LTFRB BAGUIO..PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THIS!!taxi drivers are one of our frontliners in promoting the tourism of Baguio.

  35. *Just wanna share my worst experience earlier..everyday ako nagtataxi papasok sa work at pauwi galing work kaya lahat kabisado ko na ang bill, mga alternative route, mga traffic and also experienced some bad attitude of drivers like mainitin ang ulo, overcharging, at yung mga nakakatulog While driving the common things nman na complaints ng mga passengers un. but this early morning is the worst. pauwi na ko galing work (1:30am) i lived at San andres bukid manila from pioneer my bill is always P110-120 usually sa pilahan ako ng taxi sumasakay then pagsakay ko ng taxi (dezza taxi) ” kuya sa san andres bukid po tayo” then he said ” Saan po sa pasig?” “Kuya SAN ANDRES BUKID” Medyo pasigaw dahil Baka bingi sya. hnd nmn kc naka on ang radio Nya. He asked Kung San ko mas prefer dumaan sabi ko kalentong. a few minutes later napansin ko iba na binabaybay nia and my bill is already 110 nasa vicinity pa din kme ng mandaluyong! halos inikot ako ng shaw at boni ave! So sinabi ko agad sknya “kuya mali yung daan mo” then tinuturo ko sknya ung daan. got alarmed na dhl hnd Nya sinusunod ung turo kong daan until we reach the JRU feeling ko safe na ko but hnd pa pla instead na kumanan kme sa kalentong ididiretso nia papuntang sta. mesa! natakot na ako lalo na Nung kinakausap ko sya and asked him Kung alm Nya ba talaga at ibaba nlng Nya ako kung hnd Nya alam pero dedma sya , bumubulong bulong lng sya at nagkakamot ng ulo. Teary eyed na ko at super tense! nilakasan ko nlng loob ko at sinigawan ko sya and said to him “kuya ibaba mo nlng ako naggagaguhan na tAyo eh! ” hininto nia at binaba ako sa KFC right before the bridge papuntang sta.mesa i gave the 200 bill!!!! at nagpasundo nlng ako! my regrets i didn’t get the plate no.
    but hnd ko man nakuha plate no. Nya yung itsura ni manong driver never ko makakalimutan.

  36. DEZZA Taxi take some action! Kawawa kme mga babaeng pasahero wala kme kalaban laban if ever! Kaya nga kme nagtataxi para safe kame! WTF!
