Some years ago, I started an affair with a hope that it’ll last forever. But sometimes, no matter how good the plan is, it’s still bound to break up. I guess that’s life, either you win or lose. You laugh and cry. You fall in and out of love.
Having experienced several unsolicited love affairs, I could say that I have mastered the art of mending broken hearts. Let me share to you some simple tips I have acquired on how you can fix your broken heart:
- Cry out loud. Let the tears flow and feel it completely but…
- Eventually, accept that’s it’s over and put the loneliness aside and then…
- Give your heart a chance to love again.
Look ahead. The world is full of endless possibilities. Sooner you’ll find someone who’s a lot better than your ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend. But remember, rebound relationships don’t work! Better be patient and wait for the right one to come.
I’m still in that process of putting the sadness aside. It’s tough but I’m getting used to it. Truth is I am happy. In fact, my life is more beautiful and fabulous without a boyfriend.
