Chuvaness Resign!

Dear Boss,

It is with the greatest satisfaction that I am informing you of my resignation effective 15 days from now, 15 March 2008.

Why am I resigning? I believe the more appropriate question is, “How could I not resign?” or, “Why didn’t I resign sooner,” or even, “Why did I ever take this job in the first place?” Since it would take more time and effort than I am willing to spend listing all the reasons for my resignation, I will be listing only my major grievances. They are the following:

(1) I’m bored. I’m stressed.
(2) The company is treating me as a talking robot instead of a human being.
(3) I want to be a full time blogger.
(4) I’m underpaid

I simply cannot take it. As I write this letter, I am half agony, half hope. Despite my problematic financial situation, I have never compromised my principles for money. I worked hard like a carabao for 5 long years even if the pay isn’t enough. I would have resigned sooner but I stayed loyal to this organization.

I believe in due process even if the company has never given me a fair treatment. Thus, I am giving sufficient notice so that this company can find another unfortunate slave to replace me.

I can no longer live on false hopes and promises. I have myself to think of and a family to feed. I could go on and on with my list of grievances but I do not wish to waste any more of time on the same way that I wasted a lot of my time here ~~blogging, chatting, sleeping~~. Since the company has failed to recognize my rights as an employee and as a human being, there can be only one inevitable conclusion.

In summary, I look forward to my freedom with the utmost eagerness and satisfaction.

ang tanong ko lang nga eh bakit, in a sense na, bakit di ka muna humanap ng next job na gusto mo aside from blogging para at least bago ka magresign eh may trabaho ka na uli at fallback if ever bumagsak ang gorgle hehe.

am still gonna look for a day job…i can’t afford to be a bum for good…

i don’t know what happened but opportunities are coming left and right…am amazed..there are many opps out there di lang naten nakikita because we refuse to experience them…change is good di ba…

if you feel it’s time, give yourself a chance to experience greater things…believe me, the best is yet to come
